Reza Aslan is a popular writer, speaker and scholar of comparative religions.
His first book, No god but God: The Origins, Evolution and Future of Islam, has been translated into half a dozen languages. He studied at Santa Clara and Harvard Universities and the University of California, and was visiting assistant professor of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Iowa.
