If you are planning to take a 1000-level Psychology class in the fall, please read this e-mail from the Psychology Advisor that I received today.
Dear Advisors,
In the past few terms we have had some difficulty enrolling our students in their upper-level PSY course requirements. Due to this difficulty, some seats in certain PSY courses will be restricted to PSY majors for the first two weeks of 2081 registration. This will ensure that our majors will have an opportunity to enroll in these courses that they need for graduation.
All PSY course seats will be open to students declared as PSY majors regardless of where the student actually registers for courses. There will still be some seats open in all our courses, but the majority will be reserved for PSY majors until March 31st. After this date all of the PSY courses will be unrestricted and students may add/drop or register for these courses. Please do NOT send students to the instructors, or the psychology advising office to request permission for these courses. Inform the students to monitor the course status, and after March 31st the courses will be unrestricted.
